More reviews build trust and keep your score current. Platforms ban fake or incentivised reviews, so only use honest methods.
What works
- Ask in person at check-out, when the guest is happy
- Send one polite reminder with a direct link
- Put a QR code to your Google review link at reception
- Reply to reviews; guests notice when you do
Not allowed
- Paying or giving discounts for reviews
- Reviewing your own property or asking staff to
- Selectively asking only happy guests where a platform forbids it (check each policy)
