Guest Feedback Survey Template for Small Hotels

A short survey (five questions or fewer) gets more answers than a long one. Ask during the stay so you can still fix things.

In-stay (day 1)

1. Is everything in your room as expected? (Yes / Something to fix)
2. What can we do to make your stay better?

Post-stay

1. How likely are you to recommend us to a friend? (0–10)
2. Rate: cleanliness, comfort, location, staff, value (1–5)
3. What was the best part of your stay?
4. What one thing should we improve?
5. May we quote your answer? (optional consent)

Using the results

• Review the answers weekly; group them by theme
• Fix repeated issues first
• Pass named praise to staff
