Minimum Stay Rules: When to Use Them
Minimum-stay rules reduce cleaning costs per booking, but if they're too strict you lose bookings. Use them selectively.
When they help
- Peak weekends and events
- Long lead times when demand is strong
- Properties where cleaning costs are high
When to relax
- Close to the arrival date
- To fill one-night gaps between bookings
- In low season
Test it
Change one rule at a time and compare occupancy and revenue per available night over a month.
